- Frewin, Eddie (Edward Albert)
- (1921-1982)Born in Cologne, Germany, during the British occupation of the Rhine, Frewin worked in the British film industry after the war in a number of positions, becoming assistant head of studio operating at MGM Studios in Boreham Wood. He later quit to work for STANLEY KUBRICK on 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY as Kubrick’s driver, unit manager, and production manager. He worked on the aborted NAPOLEON project and A CLOCKWORK ORANGE. Frewin, the father of ANTHONY FREWIN, died in Elstree, Hertfordshire, in 1982.
